LRR Motors has kicked off 2026 with an early launch for EV buyers in Nepal by introducing the 2026 Geely EX5 well ahead of the usual model-year cycle.
As the official distributor of Geely vehicles in Nepal, LRR Motors has managed to bring in the 2026-spec EX5 within the first month of the year—something rarely seen in the local automobile market, where new model-year launches typically happen mid-year.
The early arrival means customers planning to buy the EX5 can now opt for the latest model without waiting months, a move that also helps with long-term resale value and access to updated features.
One of the key highlights of the 2026 EX5 is the addition of built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, improving everyday usability through seamless smartphone connectivity. Performance remains strong, with the EX5 sprinting from 0–100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and offering a WLTP-rated range of up to 430 km.
In Nepal, the Geely EX5 is available in two variants—EX5 Pro and EX5 Max—priced at Rs 58 lakh and Rs 68 lakhrespectively (prices exclude discounts and add-ons).
Both variants use a 160 kW electric motor producing 320 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.22 kWh LFP battery. The EX5 Pro delivers a WLTP range of 430 km, while the EX5 Max offers 425 km.
“At LRR Motors, our focus has always been to deliver the latest global mobility solutions to Nepali customers without delay. Introducing the 2026 model Geely EX5 right at the beginning of the year reflects our commitment to staying ahead of the curve,” says Adhir Shrestha, Sales Head at LRR Motors, “With advanced features such as inbuilt Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the new EX5 offers enhanced convenience, connectivity, and long-term value for our customers.”
